Dream Weekend is one of the largest annual land events in the Caribbean and has been going strong for the last 10-years. What does the price of the dream weekend cruise include?

Your room, dining options, some beverages (coffee, tea, juices, ice tea etc.) all dream weekend cruise activities and events, two ports of call, and entertainment offered on and off the ship are included in the price of your cruise.

On-shore excursions, specialty restaurants, spa treatments, merchandise, certain specialty room service items and alcoholic beverages are not included. Refer to pricing page for more information on different pricing options. You may also visit our website at www.dreamweekendcruise.com to view our activities programming and events line up.

Who can attend the dream weekend cruise?

The Dream Weekend Cruise is for those who are 21 years and older. You must be 21 years of age before, or on the starting day of the cruise to be granted passage.

How do I book a stateroom?

Currently we are only servicing guests who have completed a pre-sale program booking. We have not launched to the general public as yet. Please follow our social media for announcements to stay informed on our big launch.

If you have completed a pre-sale booking, you can book by going online to Book Now and using your special personalized booking token to make a reservation. If at any time you are having issues with creating a reservation you can go onto our website and utilize our chat option where a cruise consultant will be ready to assist you.

What do I need to book a stateroom on the Dream Weekend Cruise?

The following information is required by the cruise line, and needed for every guest in your cabin:

Your Full Legal First and Last Name as they appear on your Government Issued Travel Documents (ie: driver license, passport, or birth certificate) middle names are not necessary

  • Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Gender
  • Citizenship
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Mailing Address
  • Emergency Contact: first name, last name and phone number
  • Any special dietary or physical needs can be left in the notes section

Credit Card Payments:

If you will be paying for your stateroom with multiple credit cards, you will need to have all of the credit card numbers, with expiration dates and the card’s verification code/CVV number, as well as the billing name and billing addresses for each card. The credit card(s) must belong to the guest(s) booked on the reservation.

If you are using a credit card for someone not in the reservation and not going on the cruise they must complete a credit card authorization form and submit it to Reservations@DreamWeekendCruise.com

What is the dream weekend cruise 2019 pre-sale program?

The Pre-Sale Program has already concluded and guests were able to choose one of three pre-sale package options available: Silver $250/guest, Gold $300/guest, and Platinum $350/ guest. Guest who purchased a pre-sale package after June 7th, 2018 received a standard package.

When will the pre-sale program offer begin & end?

The Pre-Sale Program was a very limited time offer and ran for three weeks starting on May 10th, 2018 and ending on June 7th, 2018.

If I participated in the pre-sale program, will I be required to leave another deposit later on when I book my stateroom?

In certain cases, the balance of a deposit(s) might still be required at the time of booking a reservation and the amount owed will be based on the final stateroom category that is selected. The cruise stateroom deposit fees range from $250 USD – $650 USD per person. Example: a $250 USD Pre-Sale Deposit is made, but a Oceanview stateroom is selected which requires a $350 USD cruise fare deposit. If you minus the $250 USD Pre-Sale deposit from the $350 USD required stateroom deposit, that leaves a $100 USD deposit balance owed at the time of booking. The deposits required at the time of booking are outlined as follows:

  • Interior – $250 per person
  • Ocean view $350 per person
  • Balcony – $450 per person
  • Suites – $550 per person
  • Royal/Owner/Penthouse Suites – $650 per person

When will the pre-sale deposit(s) payment(s) be credited to my account?

Once a reservation is completed, the pre-sale deposit(s) will be credited and automatically applied to your reservation. Once the credit(s) has been applied, the total balance due on the account will be reduced and a new lower balance will be produced. In certain cases, there might be a deposit balance that is required, and this is based on the final stateroom category selection. Please refer back to #6 for a breakdown. If I leave a pre-sale deposit now will I be able to cancel it later on?

Should you, or any of the guests added in your Pre-Sale Event, wish to cancel, it MUST be submitted in writing within 7-days before the official Dream Weekend Cruise launch to the general public. The refund will be issued via check or wire transfer and issued less a $75 US administrative fee per guest. Please allow up to 21 business days for your refund to process. Once the final date to request a refund passes, or a reservation is executed in our system, the Pre-Sale Program deposit(s) becomes 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions will be made!

What if I do not know who my stateroom guests are?

Not to worry! Anyone who is not sure on who their guests are, or who is interested in traveling solo, can select “1 guest” from the main menu and complete their reservation as a “single.” Keep in mind that eventually you’ll need another guest to meet the double occupancy minimum or partake in our roommate share program.

What if I don’t want a cabin mate and prefer to have my own stateroom?

If you’d like to room alone, you can pay the double occupancy rate plus any applicable taxes and fees. The double occupancy base rate will depend on the selected stateroom type; you will only pay a single deposit, as well as you will only pay a single $250 for taxes & fees.

What is the Roommate Share Program and how do I join?

The roommate share program is available to guests who are traveling alone and wish to pay the single occupancy rate plus taxes/fees. When starting a reservation, please select “1 guest,” proceed to select “roommate share program,” and you will be automatically matched with another guest of the same gender. For safety reasons, we do not share any information regarding your roommate and you will not meet them until the day of the cruise.

If you already have an active reservation and your guest drops out, you cannot be retroactively added into the roommate share program. If you are already in the roommate share program and find a guest to travel with, based on availability we can try to accommodate this pairing, but it requires approval so please contact reservations@dreamweekendcruise.com

What is the advanced access e-booking link & token?

Once we launch to our pre-sale program members, we will send out an advanced access e-booking link and unique booking token (a special code) via email to members of the Dream Weekend Cruise 2019 Pre-Sale Program. We will release the links and tokens in phases based on the package tier that was purchased in the order of Platinum, Gold, Silver and Standard. Once the link is sent, members will have 72-hours to complete their reservation.

Once all pre-sale program members have been sent their e-booking link and token, we will allow 72-hours to complete your reservation before we launch to the general public. Once the priority access token expires, members will still be able to book, however we cannot guarantee that the desire stateroom will be available.

What if some people in my group left a pre-sale deposit, but others didn't?

If at least one person left the pre-sale deposit, they will be marked as the primary and receive the advanced e-booking link and access token in order to complete the reservation. The primary guest can then add in their other guests to the reservation who then must pay their deposits in full. Everything is based on availability, so we cannot guarantee that all primary passengers will be able to add-in additional guests who were not included in their original pre-sale event.

What if only one person in the reservation purchased a pre-sale package but would like to make multiple reservations?

Once you receive your booking token you will only be able to make
ONE reservation. Each token is specific to your name and can only be used ONCE. One token=one reservation. However, if you are having any issues with this particular protocol you can contact us via live chat or send an email to support@dreamweekendcruise.com where we can assist you further.

***Please note that it is extremely important to have all the required information on each guest you are adding to the reservation as each token will only allow you to access the booking portal ONCE. Once you log in and click out you will not be able to access it to make any changes or additions as the token will be marked as used.

What if I am a pre-sale program member and want to join together with someone who also completed their own pre-sale program membership?

You can certainly join with another person, or group, that has participated in the pre-sale program. The primary of the reservation would just need to add you in as a guest, as well as enter your profile including your exact email address as it was previously entered during your own pre-sale submission. If the email address isn’t entered correctly, the system will not recognize you and your credit will not be transferred. What is the available payment options, and will payment plans be available when it is time to book?

You can also opt to pay in full at the beginning of booking or you can choose our monthly payment plan. You will be able to leave a deposit if your decision is to partake in our payment plan. If you have already left a deposit during our pre-sale that deposit will be credited towards your room. The payment plan gives you the option to pay your full cruise fare and fees in equal automatic monthly installments.

If I choose monthly payments, how does automatic billing work?

The automatic billing plan (recurring billing) allows guests to establish an evenly divided payment schedule. Dream then automatically charges the guest’s authorized credit card on file for the applicable charges on either of the scheduled dates (the 1st or 30th of every month depending on when you originally registered). Guests who wish to enroll in the automatic billing plan will be required to make the initial deposit at the time of registration, and then authorize in advance, monthly payments to be processed on the 1st or the 30th of every month depending on the dates you agree to. There is no additional charge for selecting the automatic billing plan and final payment will be processed on February 1st, 2019.

What if I chose the automatic payment plan, but want to pay on a non-scheduled date?

You can make additional payments in addition to your monthly payment at any time in any amount. The amount you pay will be subtracted from your balance and your pending installments will be adjusted accordingly. You can also pay off your remaining balance in one payment at any time if you wish to do so.

What is the cancellation policy for an actual reservation (not a pre-book event)?

You can cancel at any time, but all cancellations MUST be made in writing to Support@DreamCruiseWeekend.com. Keep in mind that we DO NOT offer refunds, or credit towards future cruises, for any reason. Also, if a reservation partakes in the payment plan and cancel, they will owe the FULL balance at the time of cancellation. The primary passenger is ultimately responsible for all guests, regardless of how the balance is split, so if a guest within a reservation can no longer make their payment, the primary guest must either find a replacement, or pay for that guest’s entire balance in full.

Can I upgrade, downgrade or switch my stateroom?

Yes, you are allowed to upgrade your room category. You will be required to pay the difference in price as an upgrade will cost more than your current stateroom.

We also allow our guests to switch staterooms within the same sub-category. This attracts a stateroom change fee of $100-$200 USD depending on when the request is made.

Unfortunately, we do not facilitate downgrading the category of your stateroom. Once you make the reservation, the room is regarded as sold and will not be available for anyone else to purchase.

Are there any other available options for someone who must cancel a completed reservation due to an unforeseen circumstance?

We will be offering insurance coverage that is not mandatory, but highly recommended as it is each guest’s responsibility to protect themselves in the event of an unforeseen circumstance. When should I plan to arrive and depart from Miami before and after the cruise?

All guests are advised to be in Miami at least 24-hours before embarkation. As it regards to leaving Miami at the end of the cruise, guests should book their returning flight for any time AFTER 1PM. Check in will start as 12:00pm on March 10th, 2019. Please note that all guests are to be onboard the ship by 3pm at the latest.

This is a unique charter cruise, therefore the standard wine policy for RCCL does not apply. No outside food, drinks, or alcohol will be allowed onboard. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.

What documents are required for travel?

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) stipulates the following information with regards to “closed-loop” cruises, which are sailings that originate and terminate in the same U.S. Port. Please note that this information could change at any time without notice.
ii. U.S. Citizens taking “closed-loop” cruises will be able to enter or depart the country with either a valid U.S. Passport – or – Proof of citizenship, such as an original or certified copy of his or her birth certificate (or a ConsuMiamir report of Birth Abroad, or a Certificate of Naturalization), along with government issued photo identification, such as a State issued driver’s license.
iii. Other acceptable forms of identification include:
I. U.S. Passport Cards
II. Enhanced Driver’s Licenses
III. Trusted Traveler Cards (NEXUS, SENTRI, or FAST)
IV. Military Identification Cards (for members of the U.S. armed forces on official orders)
V. U.S. Merchant Mariner Document (for U.S. citizens on official maritime business)
VI. Enhanced Tribal Card (where available)
VII. Please note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.

IX. U.S. Alien Residents need a valid Alien Resident Card. Non-U.S. citizens need a valid passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa, if applicable.
X. Non-U.S. Citizens: You will need a valid passport and, in some cases, a visa. If you live in the U.S., you will also need the original copy of your Alien Registration Card (ARC or “Green Card”) and any other documentation the countries on your itinerary require due to your alien status.
XI. If you are not a U.S. Citizen, please contact U.S. Immigrations at 1-800-375-5283 to be sure your identification will be satisfactory for both entry into the U.S., and for the cruise.
XII. Citizens from the Visa Waiver Program countries will require a machine-readable passport valid for the duration of their voyage.
XIII. All guests must present the required documentation at embarkation. Guests without the required documentation will be denied boarding and no refund will be issued. Please understand that Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will strictly enforce this requirement to be in compliance with this important U.S. Government mandate.
XIV. Dream Weekend Cruise and other Released Parties (as herein defined) assume no responsibility for advising you of immigration requirements. Non-U.S. citizens, including resident aliens, must contact the appropriate consulates, embassies and/or immigration office(s) to inquire about necessary documentation for the Cruise’s ports of call. Your name, as listed on your travel documents, must exactly match your name as listed on your Cruise documents.
XV. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you have the proper, valid documents to board the ship. Dream Weekend Cruise is not responsible for denied boarding due to insufficient documents.
