Dream cruise set to rule high seas

ONLINE pre-sale tickets for the inaugural Dream Weekend Cruise — scheduled for March 10–15, 2019 — began Thursday. Organisers explained the reason for its introduction to its suite of party offerings.

“Next year will see the 10th year of Dream Entertainment. We wanted to do something very special for our anniversary, while offering our fans a unique experience,” Kamal Bankay, director of public relations at Dream Entertainment — organisers of Dream Weekend — told the Jamaica Observer.

The cruise starts in Miami, Florida, will visit Nassau, Bahamas, then Montego Bay, Jamaica, before returning to home port in Miami. There are 1,500 cabins of varying price points available to be booked. However, they can all be reserved with an initial deposit.

“The cruise is aimed at anybody who loves Jamaican dancehall culture and those who have experienced our Dream Weekend event,” Bankay explained.
